
There are still 100 or so characters to unlock, but I was rarely blown away by them.


By comparison The Incredibles feels like it's missing the fun references and fan service that makes the endless brick-punching and collecting palatable. Somewhere in between there was also the amazing Lego Dimensions, which blended everything from Doctor Who to Sonic the Hedgehog. The most recent Lego games have had the rich, expansive worlds of Marvel, Star Wars and Jurassic Park to work with, and even before that it was DC, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

But while the jokes, banter and optionally co-operative jumping and punching of prior games is all here, the narrow scope makes for a less enjoyable experience.
